I'm very excited to write about the early access release of 'For The Warp' by Massive Galaxy Studios over on Steam, this has been an exciting project to be part of and one I'm lucky to have been involved in right from the start.
The game itself is set in the same universe as the studios other title 'Massive Galaxy' (which is currently still in development) although it features a whole new soundtrack and sound design pass.
Since the game is still in early access, I'll be working on additional content as we work towards it's full release, including new and alternate music and some fresh sound design too! Although there are combat elements in 'Massive Galaxy', FTW is based 50/50 between battles and exploration so much of the sound design work has been around weapon and ship elements, which has been a lot of fun.
The game released yesterday on Steam, and has already recieved some great reviews. It's really encouraging to read people's thoughts and suggestions, so thank you to everyone who's been playing it so far.
